Consignment / Classified Ad Overview:

Placing a classified ad on NewBreedAuctions.com is simple and affordable and will showcase your horse (or other item) in a professional manner that can be viewed by a national audience and by local buyers alike.  NewBreedAuctions offers an all around sales service that can include delivering your horse and temporary boarding as well as advertising and marketing your consignment.

Consignment Services:

Our website catalog is set up to showcase three types of consignments:

  • Horses for sale.

  • Tack & Other Farm Items & Equipment

  • Other Miscellaneous Items (for select consigners)

You simply provide us with some general information about the horse or item that you would like to sell and we will do the rest.  We will contact you or refer potential buyers to you directly when there is interest.

Length of Online Ad:

Horses, tack & equipment listed in our online catalog may be listed for however long you wish.  If no expiration date is assigned, horses and items may stay in the catalog indefinitely, but consigners must alert New Breed Auctions if the item is no longer available for sale, or has been sold locally.  Items in our "Other Items" general classified category will end at the end of each year and will need to be renewed if you would like to continue the ad.  "Other items" submitted after September 1st will continue through the end of the year and will be ended at the end of the following year if not sold.

Classified Ad Fees:

Horses - Classified listings of horses will carry a one-time flat fee of $100 per horse.  If your horse does not successfully sell via our online horse catalog, you may opt to have your horse auctioned off at our annual Horse & Tack Auction at absolutely no extra charge or commission.  Consignors who choose this option will be responsible for delivery of horse to be auctioned to our auction grounds near the DuBois-Jefferson County airport prior to the auction.  Or we can pick up your horse for sale for our normal hauling rate.

Tack - Classified listings for tack will carry a one-time flat fee of $5 per item or lot.  Tack items can also be added to our Horse & Tack Auction, but will be billed for normal commission.

Farm Equipment / Machinery / Automobiles - Classified listings for all farm equipment/machinery and cars, trucks & other vehicles (such as RV's and recreational vehicles) will carry a one-time fee of $100 per item.  At any time consigner may choose to have item sold at a monthly Mega Multi-Estate Auction.  Consignors who choose this option will be delivery of item to be auctioned off to our auction grounds near the DuBois-Jefferson Country airport prior to auction, or we can pick up your item for sale at our normal hauling rate.  Items pulled from classified ad and put into monthly auction will be refunded $100 off of normal commission.

Other Items - Anyone with other types of items that wish to be included in the classified catalog portion of the New Breed Auctions website should contact Col. Bob Britton.  Other items may include antiques, furniture, tools, appliances, household etc.  The fee for the "Other Items" category is $10 per item.

There are a number of advantages you receive when using New Breed Auctions to advertise your horse, tack, farm equipment or other items for sale.

Worldwide exposure: Many local auctioneers rely only on  local print advertising to sell your merchandise - we are not one of those auctioneers.  Your classified ad will be able to be seen by buyers from virtually anywhere.

Rapid website traffic growth: currently NewBreedAuctions.com has over 20,000 visits per month and growing.  In addition to estate auctions and business liquidations, we have a lot of livestock, horse and farm auctions.   Placing a classified ad on a site such as this is a good way to market to the right crowd.

Low risk commitment:  All ads for horses are virtually risk free.  If your horse does not sell, we give you the option of adding it to our annual Horse & Tack auction for NO extra fee and NO commission.   For farm equipment & vehicle ads, you get a rebate equal to your ad price if you choose to sell your item at a monthly Mega Multi-Estate Auction.

Direct person to person marketing:  Many local auctions draw 100-300+ people, and benefit, charity and fair livestock auctions can draw even more.  With multiple auctions each month (and many times during the summer more than one each week) we are in a unique position of spreading news of your classified ad to thousands of people directly each month.

Each classified advertisement features all of the following:

6 digital photos of any size.

Virtually unlimited space for description.

Ads rotated constantly on New Breed Auctions homepage.

The Fine Print:

In order to maintain a high quality catalog of horses and other items, there are a few stipulations we make.

1. All consignors are responsible for notifying New Breed Auctions if items are no longer available for sale, or if they have sold.  Consigners who fail to notify of unavailability of consigned items will be subject to a $50 administration fee if an interested customer or New Breed Auctions discovers that the item is no longer available.  So please, if you sell the item, or no longer wish to sell it, please let us know so we can keep our site up to date and accurate.

2. New Breed Auctions reserves the right to deny any ads that are inappropriate.

3. Consigners are responsible for ad content.  Once your ad and payment is received, your ad will be viewable within a day.  Consigners should check their ad for errors and for anything that you might have missed in describing your horse or item.
